Queensland Academy of Science, Mathematics and Technology – Resource Centre
Honeywill Consulting was engaged by the Queensland Academy of Science, Mathematics and Technology to convert the existing manual arts facility and one classroom into a fully functional resource centre, complete with fully glazed withdrawal spaces and a new PWD toilet area.
The facility was designed to meet the Academy’s strict requirements, which called for high quality finishes and fittings.
Key challenges included the procurement of a contractor to deliver the project over the school holidays, as well as the installation of glass walls, compactus and furniture during this period.
The appointed builder delivered a high quality refurbishment in a limited time.
